The annual Inter-schools athletics championship was held on the 15th, 16th and 17th of March, 2019, at the Independence stadium, Bakau. Nusrat Senior Secondary School took 2nd position this year with 209 points while the defending champions Bottrop took first position with 276 points and Gambia High School 3rd position with 190 points.
“We Can Do Both” hailed Nusrat fans at the stadium, a school known for academic performance has greatly invested into sports in recent years. They have showed that they can do both academics and sports. taking 4th position last year now to 2nd position, is a great move.
